Job Description

We are seeking a remote Registrar to lead our Records and Registration Department. The role involves managing student records, overseeing staff, and ensuring compliance with FERPA guidelines.

  • Hire, supervise, and evaluate department staff
  • Manage student records, including grades, transcripts, and audits, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Implement technology solutions to enhance registration and records services
  • Develop and oversee the departmental budget
  • Resolve student disputes related to records and registration
  • Collaborate with faculty, IT, and administration to improve services
  • Participate as an ex-officio member of the Curriculum Committee
  • Communicate effectively with students and staff
  • Maintain program calendars and review enrollment agreements
  • Ensure students meet admissions requirements
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in educational administration or related field
  • Positive attitude and adaptability
  • Effective collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and contact databases (MSCRM preferred)
  • Typing speed of at least 55 WPM
  • Strong communication skills with diverse populations
  • Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills
