Qualifications

4+ years of insurance claims adjusting and large loss experience.
Strong construction knowledge.
Proficiency with Xactimate and claims management systems.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Relevant industry certifications (Xactimate Certified, AIC, CPCU, IICRC).

Responsibilities

Process and review claim documentation from internal teams for completeness and accuracy.
Evaluate damages using established methodologies and company guidelines to determine fair scope and invoices.
Negotiate settlements with claimants or representatives within authority limits.
Maintain detailed records of claim activities in the claims system with accuracy and compliance.
Support project supervisors and coordinate with other departments to improve client satisfaction and profitability.
Provide empathetic customer service to policyholders, adjusters, and claimants throughout the process.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent claims handling and risk mitigation.
