Job summary

Alert Disaster Restoration is seeking an experienced Reconstruction Claims Adjuster to manage reconstruction insurance claims from start to finish in person. You will coordinate accurate scopes of work, prepare and review estimates, negotiate with carrier and independent adjusters, and support Project Supervisors to deliver successful reconstruction projects that meet company standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of property insurance claims adjusting experience, including large losses.
• Strong construction knowledge.
• Proficient in Xactimate.
• Proven experience negotiating with carriers and independent adjusters.
• Proficiency with claims management systems and multitasking.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Certifications such as Xactimate Certified, AIC, CPCU, or IICRC are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scopes of work and prepare/review estimates to align with carrier requirements and company gross profit.
• Negotiate claim approvals, supplements and settlements with carriers and independent adjusters.
• Drive timely claim approvals to support reconstruction projects.
• Collaborate with Project Supervisors to keep projects on schedule.
• Provide responsive, professional communication to policyholders and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed claim records in the claims management system.
