Qualifications

• 5+ years of field property adjusting experience.
• Residential or commercial property claims experience.
• Experience investigating, evaluating, estimating, and negotiating property damage claims.
• Experience with coverage analysis and determinations.
• Advanced property damage estimating experience using Xactimate.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, estimate, negotiate, and resolve property claims.
• Handle complex losses including structural damage and total building losses.
• Conduct field inspections of damaged buildings and properties.
• Prepare detailed estimates using Xactimate.
• Perform coverage analysis based on policy provisions.
• Draft coverage position, reservation of rights, and denial letters.
• Negotiate settlements for high-value losses.
• Document investigations, inspections, estimates, determinations, and settlements.
• Provide technical claims support and mentor others.
• Travel throughout Fresno, Bakersfield, and surrounding areas.
