BELFOR is seeking an experienced carpenter capable of supervising unskilled labor and training junior team members on high‑risk commercial reconstruction projects. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and adherence to BELFOR methods across diverse sites.

The position involves leading crews, coordinating tasks, and ensuring timely completion while maintaining equipment and following strict safety standards. Nights, weekends, and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Supervise unskilled labor and BELFOR employees on site.
• Perform emergency services as needed.
• Maintain equipment used in daily tasks.
• Meet BELFOR standards and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Recognize potential problems and request guidance as needed.
• Train Carpenter Basic and Intermediate level team members.
• Answer questions and direct to the right resource.
• Construct containment for dust, dirt and contaminants.
• Build metal framed walls, acoustical ceilings, roofing repairs.
• Use tools and BELFOR methods for flood cutting and salvage work.
• Identify insulation types and R-values for materials.
• Apply knowledge to trim, doors, cabinets, insulation and framing.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and keep equipment clean.
• Maintain attention to detail and safeguard client property.
• Meet customer service standards in all interactions.
• Work nights and weekends as required and travel periodically.
