Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Reconditioning Lead to oversee multiple lines at the Inspection & Reconditioning Center in Arizona. You will plan production for full shifts, manage operations in the GM's absence, and drive productivity, cost, and quality improvements across the site.

You will identify bottlenecks, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions with the leadership team. The role emphasizes leadership development, safety, and adherence to Carvana standards on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management in automotive or lean manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple reconditioning lines and plan production for a full shift.
• Manage facilities to meet targets in production, cost, and quality when GM is not onsite.
• Identify bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis, and implement action plans with site leadership.
• Lead weekly performance reviews and report on targets, challenges, and countermeasures.
• Guide daily site manager huddles and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Support development plans and provide competency-based feedback to leaders.
