Qualifications

• 7+ years in receiving or dimensional inspection of aerospace components.
• Proficient GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994.
• Excellent communication and high attention to detail.
• Fluent with precision hand tools, gauges, optical comparator, and surface plate work.
• Ability to select proper inspection tools and read documentation.
• Familiar with PCs and basic machining knowledge.
• Inventory and PO system knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials per inspection plan: dimensions, markings, traceability.
• Review documentation for hardware acceptance per requirements.
• Perform first article reviews and conduct receiving inspections.
• Provide dimensional data feedback to engineers and buyers.
• Document, track, and close discrepancy reports.
• Estimate inspection times and maintain equipment calibrations.
• Contribute to process improvements and maintain file control.
• Operate safely within an industrial environment.
