Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of aerospace mechanical inspection experience in production or receiving inspections.
• GD&T proficiency per ASME Y14.5 on complex drawings.
• Experience selecting and operating basic and precision inspection equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication to share findings with engineers and leaders.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for documenting inspections and records.

Responsibilities

• Execute component inspections per approved plans and verify conformance.
• Perform receiving inspections on incoming aerospace hardware and materials.
• Review FAIs per AS9102 to ensure criteria are met before acceptance.
• Select and apply precision measurement tools for inspection tasks.
• Provide engineers and buyers with dimensional data and findings to support decisions.
• Communicate inspection status and nonconformance trends to stakeholders.
• Develop accurate inspection time estimates to support production planning.
