Job summary
The Cigna Group is seeking a Senior Advisor, Strategy & Financial Analysis to lead rebate modeling optimization across the rebate analytics and formulary teams. You will collaborate with SAM, Underwriting, Finance, and Product to drive market checks, renewals, and strategic opportunities, translating complex data into actionable insights.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in finance or healthcare analytics, strong leadership, and advanced Excel skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in finance/healthcare or related area; MBA a plus.
- 5+ years relevant work experience preferred.
- Experience with financial modeling and rebate contracts is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with SAM and Underwriting on current client rebate approach.
- Propose strategic rebate optimization opportunities and long-term benefits.
- Mentor Advisors and Lead Analysts for department training.
- Translate modeling components into concise leadership messages.
- Evaluate client data, create scenarios, provide expert guidance.
- Discuss potential utilization management programs with Clinical Account Executives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to strategize rebate modeling.
- Lead interdepartmental calls on rebate invoicing terms.
- Document SOPs and best practices for rebate modeling.
- Drive process optimization and department goals.
- Handle special projects and presentations as needed.
