Job summary

RTX is hiring for a Sr Principal Software Security Engineer for the Tucson, AZ site. You will develop real-time missile software in C/C++ and apply rigorous security practices to embedded systems.

The role requires collaboration with the Systems Security Engineering team to ensure compliance with DoD security requirements. Successful candidates will have a BS in STEM with 10+ years of software experience, strong C/C++, and background with embedded OS and security on DoD programs.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with a minimum of 10 years of software experience.
• Strong experience with C/C++ and real-time software.
• Embedded software security experience and DoD program exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test real-time missile software.
• Apply security principles to missile software design and implementation.
• Collaborate with Systems Security Engineering to define requirements.
• Develop software across multiple computing platforms in C/C++.
