Job summary

VTG in Hanover, Maryland is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, test, and enhance complex software systems supporting mission-critical applications. You will work on real-time data processing, analytics, and large-scale datasets using Java, Python, SQL, and C/C++.

The role offers hybrid work up to two days remote per week, requires US Citizenship with TS/SCI and Poly, and a bachelor's degree in a related technical field with 7+ years of software engineering

Qualifications

• US Citizen with TS/SCI with Poly required.
• 7+ years of Software Engineering experience on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance complex software applications and systems.
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design, functional, and performance requirements.
• Develop software solutions using Java, Python, SQL, C/C++, and related technologies.
• Develop and execute software test procedures and document results.
• Write, maintain, and review software and system documentation.
