VTG is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in C++ to support a mission-focused customer at Fort Meade, MD. The role covers design, development, testing, and integration of RF processing systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong C++ and Python skills, experience with Docker/Kubernetes, and a TS/SCI with Poly clearance. U.S. citizenship is required for this critical national security position.

Competenze

• US Citizen with TS/SCI with Poly required.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with Python scripting and large Python-based systems.
• Experience with C/C++ systems design and development.
• Familiarity with radio frequency signals.

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable mission systems using modern design principles.
• Develop software using C, C++, Python and other languages.
• Create Docker containers and Kubernetes pods and clusters.
• Generate automation scripts to improve workflow and operations.
• Assist with test procedures for software components.
• Collaborate with systems and hardware engineers regarding project interfaces.
• Provide recommendations for improving technical documentation and development processes.
