SpaceX in Australia is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer on the Starlink Enterprise Products team to design and deploy features that advance global connectivity across aviation, maritime, and remote communities.

You will own full lifecycle from architecture to deployment, build real-time software for switches, servers, antennas and satellites, and drive continuous improvement through testing and real-world deployments.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Experience with networking protocols (UDP, TCP/IP, etc.) and operating systems.

Mansioni

• Develop highly reliable real-time software running on network switches, servers, ground antennas, and satellites to optimize network performance.
• Own the impact of the software you create over its complete lifecycle including architecture design, implementation, testing, and support.
• Develop tools to support testing, performance monitoring and troubleshooting of the systems.
• Build prototypes and manage experiments to prove out key design concepts.
• Innovate next-generation networking technologies to direct data through an ever-changing network of satellites, ground stations, and users.
