Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for the Starlink program in Redmond.

You will develop highly reliable, real-time software across gateways, satellites, and user terminals, participate in architecture and code reviews, and create tools for deployment, data analysis, and testing in virtualized and on-orbit environments. You will drive prototypes, experiments, and CI/CD integration to ensure low-latency, high-performance networking for millions of users globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline and 5+ years of professional experience in software development; OR 7+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Development experience in C, C++, or assembly.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable, real-time software for gateways, satellites, user terminals, and switches in the global network.
• Lead architecture, design, and code reviews; develop prototypes and manage experiments.
• Create tools for development, deployment, data analysis, visualization, and test execution across environments.
• Deploy software, test execution, and data analysis within a continuous integration and release system.
