Job summary
SpaceX's Starlink software engineer role on the Enterprise Products team is to define, build, and deploy product features and capabilities that unlock global connectivity across satellites, ground stations and users. You will own the software lifecycle and drive continual improvement with a hands-on, high-impact approach.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline.
- Experience with networking protocols (UDP, TCP/IP, etc.) and operating systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop highly reliable real-time software for network switches, servers, ground antennas, and satellites to optimize performance.
- Own the software lifecycle from architecture to testing and support, incorporating real-world learnings.
- Develop tools to support testing, performance monitoring and troubleshooting of dependent systems.
- Build prototypes and run experiments to validate key design concepts.
- Innovate next-generation networking technologies to direct data across satellites, ground stations, and users.
