Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Senior Modeling and Simulation Software Engineer to lead development, integration, and analysis of real-time simulations for AIAMD systems. You will guide a small team, plan resources, and ensure timely delivery in support of Army programs.

The role requires deep expertise in C++, FORTRAN, Python, and MATLAB, with a focus on real-time simulations and defense tech. U.S. Citizenship and an active secret clearance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressively complex software design engineering experience.
• Active security clearance (secret) required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, execute, and analyze real-time M&S products to support the U.S. Army in lab and range venues (HWIL and all-digital).
• Design and develop simulations using tactical and simulation protocols.
• Integrate simulation and tactical software changes into real-time simulations.
• Track, debug, and resolve bugs, issues, and new capabilities.
• Support integration, execution, debugging, and analysis in various venues including OEM facilities and test ranges.
• Maintain subject matter expertise in real-time M&S, AIAMD fire control, interceptors, and sensors/uplinkers.
