Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. invites applications for a Junior-Level Modeling & Simulation Software Engineer to join the IAMDSIM team in Huntsville, AL.

You will design, implement, test, and maintain real-time simulation models in C++ and Java, and integrate third-party models into a common environment. You will develop pre- and post-processing tools in support of data analysis, and assist with Python-based post-processing libraries while collaborating with a skilled team on challenging defense

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 2 years applicable software design engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, and Python.
• Experience using version control systems (Git, Gitlab).
• Understanding of software development principles, algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented principles (OOP) and design patterns.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and as an individual.
