Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Systems Engineer/Analyst in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on data extraction, processing, and analysis of Army radar data to support high-fidelity models and simulations.

You will develop data analysis tools, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to program reviews and testing events while communicating complex results clearly to customers. US Citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• 8+ years of experience in data extraction, processing, plotting and analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS/Engineering, Physics or Mathematics; advanced degrees preferred.
• Proficiency in Python and MATLAB; experience with radar data and radar simulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform data extraction, processing, investigation, analysis and comparison of system data to high-fidelity models and simulations.
• Provide M&S analytical support for testing events and generate concise reports for customers.
• Develop and maintain data reduction and analysis tools; participate in technical meetings and reviews.
