Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Software Developer in Huntsville, AL, to design, develop, and maintain missile defense modeling and simulation software. You will work with engineers to integrate component models into larger simulations and ensure reliable performance.

The ideal candidate has strong Java and C++ experience, is proficient with Git and Docker, and holds or can obtain an active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in Java and C++ with practical software development experience.
• Experience using Git for version control and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and maintain software applications and simulation services for missile defense modeling and simulation.
• Develop and maintain M&S infrastructure, development environments, interfaces, tools, and services.
• Integrate component models into larger simulation environments and resolve interoperability issues.
