W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Senior Real Estate Project Manager for hybrid work with three days per week at our Lake Forest, IL headquarters.

You will lead complex real estate development projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams including architects and engineers to deliver facility solutions supporting company growth. The role requires 5+ years of project management experience with GC/architects, travel up to 25%, and proficiency in AutoCAD.

Formación

• 5+ years Project Manager experience with general contractors/architects.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for role.
• AutoCAD proficiency and ability to read/interpret construction plans.
• Experience with site planning, environmental assessment, geotechnical, zoning, and due diligence.
• Construction management including documents, materials, and methodologies.
• Strong planning and scheduling capabilities.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and construction contracts.
• Knowledge of construction billing and lien waivers.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate architectural and engineering disciplines and manage estimating, budgeting, contracting, scheduling, bidding, purchasing and value engineering.
• Interface with architects, engineers, contractors and others for design and construction implementation.
• Use company systems to manage cost estimates, budgets, schedule, change orders, value engineering and progress reports.
• Develop project programming requirements and specifications with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
• Balance 5-10 large-scale projects and deliver within scope and budget.
• Communicate project updates to all levels of the organization.
• Oversee construction of major facilities including distribution centers, warehouses, showrooms, and offices.
• Demonstrate ability to work with a diverse range of personalities.
