Job summary
W.W. Grainger, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy to shape the company’s long-term roadmap and identify trends impacting market share and profitability. You will work with the Director and VP of Corporate Strategy to translate insights into actionable plans.
The role is hybrid, onsite in Lake Forest 2–3 days a week, leading a small team of strategy managers and analysts. You will drive cross-functional initiatives and present outcomes to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
- 7+ years consulting experience across multiple industries.
- Experience with competitive analysis and executive storytelling.
- Analytical and financial skills; Excel proficiency.
- Advanced problem structuring and work planning.
Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional strategy initiatives across corporate and business units.
- Advise senior leadership with a confident point of view and clear communication.
- Support the executive team with regular discussions and presentations.
- Lead strategy managers and analysts, ensuring analytical rigor and storytelling.
