Equinix, a global digital infrastructure company, seeks a senior real estate leader in Dallas to manage a portfolio of office and data center properties and drive site acquisitions for development opportunities.

The role oversees asset management, permitting, and complex lease negotiations while coordinating with internal and external counsel and cross-functional teams to align with REIT requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, or Accounting required.
• Typically, 7+ years of experience in commercial real estate, real estate investment, brokerage, or corporate real estate, preferably with large-scale acquisitions and lease negotiations.
• Data center or digital infrastructure experience preferred but not necessary.
• Relevant experience in site selection, due diligence, real estate transactions, and portfolio management.
• Knowledge of land entitlement, zoning, permitting, and development processes preferred.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and multiple real estate projects simultaneously.
• Real Estate License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads inventory planning and capex forecasting for multiple metros.
• Directs asset acquisitions and manages site searches from offices to data centers.
• Oversees land and power permitting approvals with local authorities.
• Aids in development of asset management strategies including expansion, contraction, disposition and reconfiguration of properties.
• Directs due diligence efforts for real estate transactions and lease abstractions with Finance and REIT compliance.
• Mentors junior project/program team members in project management.
• Manages real estate transaction reviews with internal and external legal counsel and cross-functional teams.
