Job summary

QTS Realty Trust in Irving, TX seeks an Investment Manager, Real Estate Site Selection to lead the full lifecycle of site selection for data center development. You will identify opportunities, manage due diligence, negotiate purchase agreements, and coordinate with internal teams to advance development-ready sites.

The role requires strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and ability to navigate regulatory entitlements while delivering scalable real estate solutions for growth in data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Accounting or Mathematics or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a collaborative financial environment focusing on value-creation.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience building financial models with WACC, NPV, IRR and ROI.

Responsibilities

• Direct land acquisition and development activities for new project opportunities.
• Evaluate entitlements, rezoning, land use approvals, permitting and related regulatory requirements.
• Build relationships with government agencies, community groups, and stakeholders to secure approvals.
• Lead negotiations and coordinate with Design Engineering, Legal, Tax, and Construction teams.
