Job summary

Frederick Fox LLC seeks a Portfolio Controller to oversee financial integrity, accounting operations, and reporting for a CRE portfolio. You will monitor NOI, budgets, forecasts, and variances while ensuring GAAP compliance and SOX controls. Collaborate with property and asset managers to deliver timely financial information.

The role includes leading accounting staff, supporting audits, and providing strategic financial guidance for decision making across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Five to seven years of accounting experience required.
• Experience in commercial real estate accounting or portfolio reporting preferred.
• Budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and pro forma experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GAAP-compliant financial records for assigned CRE portfolio.
• Review NOI, operating expenses, revenues, and metrics in monthly reporting.
• Monitor budgets/forecasts and explain variances.
• Prepare management reports and supporting documentation for audits.
• Lead and mentor accounting staff and support SOX compliance.
