BNY Mellon in New York, NY, seeks a Senior Specialist, Real Estate Lending to support Client Executives in CRE across the full lending lifecycle for public REIT revolvers and construction loans. The role emphasizes credit analysis, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.

You'll screen, originate, underwrite, close, and monitor loans; prepare memos, analyze financials, build models, maintain covenants, and assist with client presentations while mentoring junior analysts.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of total work experience, preferably in real estate lending or commercial banking.
• Demonstrated experience in credit analysis, underwriting, and portfolio monitoring.
• Experience with Public REITs, construction lending, project finance, or agency functions preferred.
• Familiarity with loan documentation, covenant structures, and regulatory reporting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deal screening and underwriting for Public REIT corporate revolvers and construction loans.
• Prepare credit memos with risk assessments and recommendations.
• Analyze borrower/guarantor financials, cash flows, and collateral structures.
• Develop and maintain financial models and sensitivities.
• Coordinate with Risk and Credit Administration for approvals and documentation.
• Monitor covenant compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Assist with closing workflows and client presentations.
• Provide guidance to junior analysts on models and memos.
