Job summary

The Bancorp is seeking an Analyst for Real Estate Bridge Lending in New York. The role supports origination, underwriting, asset management, and secondary market activity, providing financial analysis and due diligence to assess credit risk and monitor loan performance.

You’ll build cash flow models, review third-party reports, and coordinate with deal teams to drive timely transaction milestones while maintaining rigorous diligence and accuracy across portfolios.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent training/experience.
• Commercial real estate experience preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Broad CRE knowledge; understanding of legal and tax considerations.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to analyze property cash flow and valuation.
• Perform DSCR and debt yield analyses on CRE collateral nationwide.
• Manage due diligence and coordinate information flow with third parties and senior team members.
• Support origination and transaction execution by coordinating with senior deal team members and borrowers.
• Assist asset management by reviewing property financials and rent rolls against underwriting assumptions.
• Prepare credit committee presentations, asset reports, and support capital markets transactions.
