Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Specialist Legal Editor for Practical Law Real Estate in the US. The role requires deep real estate finance law expertise to create and maintain content and to support AI-powered legal solutions.

You will collaborate with a team of seasoned editors and interact with product, sales, marketing, and tech teams to ensure practical, current content. You will bring 8+ years as a real estate finance lawyer, strong writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

JD with active license in at least one US jurisdiction.
At least 8 years as a commercial real estate finance lawyer.
Experience representing large lenders in securitized and mezzanine debt.
Strong writing skills and ability to translate complex law to clear content.
Team player with ability to work across product, sales, marketing, and tech.

Responsibilities

Research, write and maintain practical legal content aligned with market practice.
Review and edit content written by others, including external contributors.
Stay updated with legal and market developments to ensure accuracy.
Support AI-powered Thomson Reuters solutions with legal expertise.
Develop relationships with lawyers and industry groups to reflect current practice.
