Job summary

Thomson Reuters, through Practical Law, seeks a Senior Specialist Legal Editor in the Corporate and M&A space to craft and maintain practical, market-aligned legal content for a global audience. You will leverage your cross-border Corporate law expertise to support AI-powered legal solutions and ensure accuracy across a broad content portfolio.

You will collaborate with product, sales, and technology teams in a hybrid US-based role, contributing to editorial excellence and AI-driven

Qualifications

JD with active license in at least one US jurisdiction.
8+ years' experience as Corporate/M&A lawyer in law firm or in-house.
Experience advising on cross-border Corporate law matters including M&A, non-US entities, formation/governance of non-US subsidiaries, joint ventures, and investments.
Strong writing skills with ability to write concise, accurate legal content.

Responsibilities

Research, write and maintain clear, current, and practical legal content aligned with market practice and customer needs.
Review and edit content written by colleagues or external contributors.
Keep up to date with legal developments to ensure content stays accurate and relevant.
Support development of AI-powered Thomson Reuters legal solutions.
Support internal AI editorial tools with your editorial expertise.
Develop and maintain relationships with lawyers and industry groups.
Collaborate with product management, sales, marketing, and technology teams.
