Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Regional Real Estate Manager to lead development within your geography. You will supervise projects from market analysis through to restaurant openings, managing internal teams and external brokers.

You will negotiate terms, conduct market research, present to the ELT, and drive multi-year plans with Operations. The role requires travel, strong leadership, and a track record in fast-casual real estate.

Qualifications

BA/BS or equivalent in real estate, finance, or GIS.
Real Estate & Finance degree preferred.
5–8 years of field experience.
Minimum of five years of experience with successful QSR real estate site selection in the designated region.
Able to effectively manage people.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage 20+ new real estate projects per year from site approval to opening, expediting phases and minimizing risks.
Negotiate leases with landlords and coordinate with attorneys on contract status.
Perform formal and informal market research to identify site opportunities and align with trade area priorities.
Lead Triad team members (design & construction) as required by the business.
Oversee broker relationships including site prioritization, negotiation guidance and tour reporting.
Deliver exec-level presentations to gain approval for new restaurant deals; organize market tours with senior leadership.
Develop regional/market plans with Operations and present at cross-functional meetings.
Provide direction on rezoning, variances, and other development issues.
Represent Chipotle at industry events to stay abreast of real estate developments.
