Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Development Manager in California to lead land development and acquisition efforts, from feasibility through zoning approvals. You will manage a multi-disciplinary team, coordinate surveys, and drive project schedules to meet aggressive timelines.

The role involves presenting to planning boards, coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and vendors, and guiding multi-state store development programs while ensuring regulatory compliance and budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of development management exp.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create tailored development schedules for land lease/acquisition projects.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams to confirm viability and prepare approvals.
• Present at planning boards and city council meetings.
• Coordinate surveys and due diligence to qualify land sites.
• Oversee multi-state program roll-outs and store development projects.
• Review feasibility and provide zoning analysis to Real Estate.
• Ensure timely completion of master project schedules and procurement.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related discipline
