Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Development Manager to lead land development projects from inception through approvals, coordinating architects, engineers, and stakeholders to meet aggressive schedules. You will oversee feasibility analyses, zoning strategies, and multi-state program roll-outs, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

The role requires a strong background in pre-construction, site planning, and entitlements, with PMP/PE/AIA/LEED/CMAA certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related discipline and 5+ years of development management experience.
• Pre-construction and land development experience including site planning, grading reviews and utility design.
• Certifications such as PMP, PE, AIA, LEED or CMAA are preferred.
• Strong budgeting and scheduling skills with experience leading multi-project programs.

Responsabilités

• Create tailored development schedules for land lease/acquisition based on zoning and third-party approvals.
• Lead a cross-disciplinary team of architects and engineers to verify viability and zoning compliance.
• Present at planning boards, council meetings, and other forums to secure approvals.
• Coordinate surveys and reports (title, ALTA, geotechnical, environmental) for land sites.
• Manage multi-state store development programs and leasing/purchasing feasibility phases.
• Ensure timely project progress reporting and stakeholder communications.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related discipline

Certifications: PMP, PE, AIA, LEED, CMAA preferred
