Job summary

Brookfield Residential in California seeks a Land Development Field Manager to oversee and coordinate land development construction for residential communities across Northern California. You will manage day-to-day field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget in support of the business plan.

The role requires 7–10 years of land development or engineering contracting experience, a degree in construction management or civil

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of land development or general engineering contracting experience preferred.
• Strong reasoning and analytical skills; proficiency with MS Office.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate land development construction activities across Northern California.
• Manage day-to-day field operations and supervise subcontractors and trade partners.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget per business plan.
• Collaborate with planning teams on bid specifications, estimates and scopes of work.
• Coordinate and schedule subdivisions, permits, and inspections with municipalities and associations.
