Job summary

BKF Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Regional Lead for Land Development to drive strategy, client engagement, and project delivery across our California regions.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage key client relationships, and advance growth initiatives while ensuring financial performance and adherence to regulatory requirements. The role requires 8–10 years in land development with leadership experience, a California PE preferred, and willingness to travel to support regional offices

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of Land Development experience with 3+ years in leadership.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
• Strong understanding of regional market conditions, client needs, and regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional strategy and execution for Land Development.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing regional team; support succession planning.
• Develop and secure new business opportunities; shape go-to-market strategies.
• Provide project oversight to ensure quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
• Monitor regional KPIs, budget, backlog, and profitability; optimize resources.
