Job summary

Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. seeks an experienced development and construction leader to deliver high-impact real estate projects from planning through occupancy and close-out.

You will own complex programs, collaborate with tenants and senior leadership, and lead multidisciplinary teams of architects, contractors, consultants, and external partners. The role requires a strong track record managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships, including experience with ground-up

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree or other advanced degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in real estate development, construction, project management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of complex development and construction projects from planning through tenant occupancy and close-out.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and milestones with regular updates to regional leadership.
• Drive projects to successful completion in line with approved budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Build relationships with local jurisdictions and regulatory agencies to navigate entitlement and permitting requirements.
• Manage tenant and Company obligations outlined in leases and work letters for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with tenants, contractors, architects, engineers, and other partners to ensure seamless delivery.
