Job summary

Pennrose is seeking an experienced Associate Developer to oversee multi-project real estate development from inception through lease-up. You will lead an in-house team and manage external financiers, architects and contractors.

Strong financial, leadership and communication skills are essential to drive on-time, on-budget delivery for market-rate and affordable housing. You will manage budgets, proformas, entitlements and collaboration with HUD budget requirements, while delivering compelling

Qualifications

• BA or BS required.
• At least four years of experience as an associate developer or equivalent.
• Solid analytical skills.
• Documented well-rounded real estate background.
• Strong verbal and written communication to sell ideas.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate real estate development opportunities.
• Determine financial feasibility and site suitability.
• Lead in-house team of developers and coordinators.
• Coordinate external team of financiers, architects, engineers and contractors.
• Oversee development budgets, schedules and approvals.
• Draft and finalize multiple RFPs/RFQs and manage contracts.
• Deliver on-time, on-budget development projects and lease-up.
