Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a prestigious Real Estate and Development firm to fill a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst on a permanent basis. The role sits in Midtown, NYC and will manage tenant receivables, billing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliations across a portfolio of properties.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 2+ years in accounts receivable within commercial or residential real estate, and strong Excel skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years in accounts receivable, preferably in real estate.
• Experience with tenant billing, collections, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Yardi/MRI/RealPage).

Responsibilities

• Manage tenant billing, rent charges, and lease-related receivables.
• Apply cash receipts and reconcile tenant accounts.
• Monitor aging reports and lead collection efforts on outstanding balances.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Prepare AR analyses, reporting, and month-end reconciliations.
• Partner with Property Management, Leasing, and Accounting teams.
• Assist with CAM reconciliations, tenant recoveries, and annual true-ups.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controls.
