Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Senior React Native Engineer to architect and build a scalable mobile app using Expo, TypeScript, and React Native. You will define standards, mentor engineers, and partner with product and QA to deliver a high-quality mobile experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years shipping production React Native apps.
• Advanced expertise with React Native, TypeScript, Expo, and mobile architecture.
• Experience establishing engineering standards, automated testing, and scalable architecture.
• Familiarity with Azure, Salesforce, Snowflake, and CI/CD workflows; mentoring capability.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build a scalable React Native mobile application from the ground up using Expo, Expo Router, and TypeScript.
• Define mobile engineering standards including state management, offline data strategies, code quality guardrails, automated testing, and secure development practices.
• Integrate enterprise systems by connecting mobile experiences to Azure APIs and platforms like Salesforce and Snowflake.
• Transform prototypes into production-ready solutions with performance and security focus.
• Lead and mentor engineers, expanding mobile capabilities across teams.
• Own the mobile delivery lifecycle, including CI/CD, deployments, and App Store/Play releases.

The full compensation range for this position is $100,000–$150,000, reflecting the earning potential and growth opportunities available within the role. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, job-related knowledge, and geographic location.
