Job summary

Lithia Home Office is seeking an Application Quality Engineer to ensure fast, reliable, accessible digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to embed quality from the start, use automation and AI-powered testing tools, and contribute to a scalable testing strategy.

The role emphasizes building automated tests with Playwright or Appium, leveraging Azure, and working in a remote capacity aligned to West Coast hours.

Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of experience testing high-scale web or mobile applications.
  • Experience building automated tests using Playwright, Appium, or similar frameworks.
  • Exposure to cloud-based environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience working with containerized development environments.
  • Familiarity with modern technologies including React and Kotlin.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automated test suites ensuring quality across releases.
  • Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to identify risks early.
  • Validate functionality, accessibility, and performance for web and mobile apps.
  • Investigate and help resolve issues before they impact customers.
  • Explore AI-driven testing approaches to improve coverage.

The full compensation range for this position is $70,000–$105,000, reflecting the earning potential and growth opportunities available within the role. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, job-related knowledge, and geographic location.
