Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Software Engineer to build and maintain scalable software solutions for customers, dealerships, and internal teams. This role is remote with PST hours and offers a compensation range of $85,000 to $120,000 depending on experience and location.

You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering to turn ideas into production-ready applications, design secure and reliable systems, and contribute to code reviews, testing, and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing and supporting software applications in a professional environment.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and strong software engineering practices.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud-based apps, APIs, integrations, and modern architectures.

Compensation Range: $85,000 – $120,000. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.

What You\'ll Bring

• 2+ years of experience developing and supporting software applications in a professional environment.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and a strong foundation in software engineering best practices, including source control, testing, debugging, and CI/CD.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud-based applications, APIs, integrations, and modern software architectures.
• Experience supporting production systems and continuously improving software quality and reliability.
• Curiosity to learn new technologies, including AI-assisted development tools, and adapt to evolving business needs.
• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Our engineering teams build and support cloud-native applications using technologies such as Azure, .NET/C#, Kotlin, React, Next.js, Angular, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Docker, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development tools.
