Job summary

CSEngineering is seeking a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) to lead telecom infrastructure and construction‑management tasks for the VA Milwaukee EHRM upgrade. The role focuses on TRs, fiber/backbone, and integration with the overall project.

You will oversee inspections, documentation, and coordination with Government personnel, general contractors, and engineers to ensure project success and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum six years of experience in telecom design/construction.
• Active BICSI RCDD certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments of Telecommunications Rooms and assess TR conditions.
• Review TR layouts, cable management, pathways, grounding, power, and security interfaces.
• Inspect rack elevations, cabling, labeling, and equipment installation for compliance.
• Oversee fiber/backbone infrastructure including ISP/OSP, testing, and certification.
• Review copper cabling (Cat 6/6A) installations and ensure proper workmanship.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, architectural, IT/network teams and stakeholders.
