Job summary

AGE Solutions seeks a Sr. Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) to lead planning, design, and implementation of structured cabling for DoD facilities. The role focuses on telecom infrastructure, site evaluations, and alignment with government requirements.

The candidate will guide teams, interface with engineers and project managers, and ensure successful integration of cable systems into complex projects. DoD clearance and citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Must have and maintain a current DoD Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Related Field or 5 years' equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant experience as an RCDD.
• 3+ years as senior or lead RCDD for DoD environments.
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and review of telecommunications infrastructure projects supporting DoD environments.
• Conduct site visits to assess telecommunications systems, equipment, components, and materials.
• Design and maintain Inside Plant (ISP) cable infrastructure, including conduits, cable trays, copper, coax, fiber, and related elements.
• Develop Engineering Installation Plans (EIPs) for cable rack installation, wiring schematics, and testing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with current industry standards, codes, and government requirements.
• Provide SME leadership on large-scale projects and guide teams through the design and implementation process.
