• Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of 27 SOSS/OSTR, ensuring range support sections meet legal and regulatory requirements and customer needs.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
• Represents the 27 SOW with installation and functional area organizations.
• Executes Range Support Flight (OPFOR and Assault Zone Control) training requirements.
• Serves as technical advisor for all Range Support Flight mission taskings.
