Job summary

Amentum seeks a Range Systems Supervisor to lead the Space Force Range Contract operations at Vandenberg. You will provide leadership and technical direction to supervisors and technicians handling O&M in data handling and range safety, ensuring readiness for mission requirements.

You will coordinate training, qualification, scheduling, and performance management, maintain procedures, and drive improvements while ensuring compliance with government standards and contract expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business management or 4+ years of direct experience in related field
• 5+ years of experience with operation and maintenance of instrumentation, facilities, and infrastructure, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with customers, government, management and staff
• Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of local and remote environment range missions and equipment manuals/blueprints/technical orders

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to workforce for O&M in Data Handling and Range Safety
• Ensure personnel are trained, qualified, and meeting contract requirements
• Develop and maintain procedures, performance standards, and documentation; manage deviations via root cause analysis
• Schedule personnel to meet contract and mission requirements; recall during emergencies
• Monitor performance and provide feedback; maintain readiness of infrastructure and facilities
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is timely and effective
• Document degradation, failures, and outages per contract standards
• Ensure compliance with security standards and policy; manage materials and supplies
• Support planning for new or modified facilities/systems and provide technical advice
• Perform other duties as assigned
