Job summary

Verizon seeks an experienced Senior Network Performance Engineer to lead end-to-end performance optimization for Ericsson-based RAN. You will drive optimization across LTE/5G-NR, VoLTE and VoNR deployments, using ENM, MOShell/AMOS, and diagnostic traces to deliver top-tier service reliability.

Hybrid role with office/home balance and strong cross-functional collaboration with RF Planning, Operations and Core teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience.
4+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience with Ericsson ENM/MOShell/AMOS and bulk MO changes.
Proficiency in 3GPP Rel 15/16/17 architectures and 5G features.

Responsibilities

Lead Ericsson RAN optimization across LTE/5G deployments for performance.
Analyze PM counters to improve Accessibility, Retainability, Mobility and Throughput.
Parameter audit for Ericsson features (Carrier Aggregation, Massive MIMO, EN-DC).
Analyze VoLTE/VoNR SIP signaling and QoS using traces and probes.
Monitor and optimize 5G FWA performance in C-Band/mmWave.
Use MOShell/AMOS and ENM to perform health checks and automated audits.
Collaborate with RF Planning, Operations and Core teams.
