Job summary

Verizon is seeking a RAN Performance Engineer to optimize LTE/5G networks across multi-vendor setups. You will conduct drive tests, analyze KPI trends, and implement RF shaping and parameter changes to improve coverage and capacity.

The role involves field testing, troubleshooting, and coordinating with regional and HQ teams while supporting customer-facing deployments in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four+ years of work experience in a related field.
• Experience in RF field testing, optimization and wireless deployment is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network systems to improve availability and performance.
• Evaluate coverage and implement recommendations to close gaps.
• Drive test analysis to enhance KPI performance and user experience.
• Coordinate RF shaping adjustments and parameter optimization for capacity.
• Analyze drive test data and identify root causes of service issues.
• Collaborate with regional/hq teams on technical investigations and testing.
• Support eFEMTO deployments and customer-facing technical issues.
