Menzies Aviation in Salt Lake City is seeking a Ramp Agent to lead the outbound bag room and unload/load luggage and freight on aircraft. You will operate small vehicles, follow strict safety procedures, and ensure accurate loading and weight balance.

This role requires physical stamina, availability for overtime and weekend shifts, and the ability to obtain an airport security badge. Prior airline experience and a valid US driver's license are required, with English proficiency and a high

Qualifications

• Prior Ramp/Airline experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass all pre-employment testing, including a drug test.
• Must be able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English.
• Must possess and maintain a valid US driver's license with no violations in 5 years.
• Capable of safely lifting up to 70 lbs. continuously.
• Must be available for variable shifts including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must obtain and maintain required Airport security badge.
• Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal.

Responsabilités

• Safely lift/move cargo and baggage onto/off aircraft and between locations.
• Lead and participate in movement of cargo and baggage on/off aircraft.
• Operate motorized equipment.
• Read and interpret weight/balance sheets and routing tags.
• Ensure load integrity and safety compliance.
• Assist Ramp Agents to perform duties safely and efficiently.
• Provide on-the-job or airline-specific training to others.
• Attend mandatory training as required by the company and airlines.
