Menzies Aviation in Salt Lake City is seeking a Ramp Agent to lead the outbound bag room and to load and unload luggage, freight and cargo on and off commercial aircraft. You will operate small specialized vehicles and perform heavy lifting as part of safe, efficient aircraft handling.

You will work outdoors, with flexible shifts, pass pre-employment testing, including drug screening, and obtain an airport security badge.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, GED or six months experience as a Ramp Agent.
• Must pass all pre-employment testing, including a drug test.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Responsabilités

• Safely lift/move 70 lbs. of cargo and baggage to and from aircraft and between terminals and facilities.
• Lead and participate in movement of cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and transport between areas.
• Operate motorized equipment and read weight/balance load sheets and routing tags.
• Ensure load integrity and safety compliance for assigned flights.
• Assist Ramp Agents to perform duties safely and professionally.
• Attend on-the-job and airline training and supervise new employees as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
