Job summary

Menzies Aviation Chicago Midway is seeking a Ramp Agent to support outbound cargo and passenger baggage handling on commercial aircraft. You will assist with loading/unloading, operate equipment, and ensure load integrity and safety across all flights, with adherence to procedures.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, be 18+, hold a valid US driver’s license, pass pre-employment checks and a background screen, and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions on flexible

Qualifications

• Prior Ramp/Airline experience required.
• Must be able to speak/read/write in English.
• Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs. regularly.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including drug screen.
• Must have a valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift/move cargo and baggage up to 70 lbs and transport between locations.
• Lead and participate in movement of cargo on and off aircraft and between terminals.
• Operate motorized equipment as required.
• Read and complete load sheets, manifests, and routing tags.
• Maintain load safety and compliance for all flights.
• Assist Ramp Agents to ensure tasks meet standards and safety rules.
