Job summary

Alpine Air is seeking a Part-Time Ramp Agent for our Salt Lake City, UT site to perform ground servicing of aircraft, including loading/unloading baggage and cargo and fueling. Work is outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities include observing safety and FAA regulations, transferring cargo, towing and marshalling aircraft, de-icing, and providing shuttle service for crew. Candidates must lift up to 70 lbs, hold a valid driver's license, and pass a pre-employment drug test and

Qualifications

• Qualifications include: preferred private pilot's license.
• Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds to shoulder height.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Be available for flexible schedule depending on aircraft arrivals and departures and cargo load.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Required to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety and FAA regulations.
• Transferring cargo from vehicles to cargo planes.
• Parking, towing, moving, fueling, and marshalling arriving and departing aircrafts.
• De-icing the aircraft and GPU starting the aircraft.
• Providing shuttle service for crew and assist with baggage.
• Practice safe lifting methods.
