Job summary

CAF USA is seeking a Senior Rail Services Supervisor to oversee on-site operations at the Newton, MA location, ensuring safe, cost-efficient performance of rail service activities. The role includes staffing, budgeting, and coordinating with suppliers and clients to maintain service quality.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or related field, 5+ years in rail after-market roles, and the ability to read schematics. English/Spanish bilinguals are a plus.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Must read and understand engineering drawings/schematics.
• 5+ years in rail after-market, maintenance, or overhaul in a warranty role.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Rail Services operations on site, ensuring safety and cost efficiency.
• Interview, hire, and train staff; plan and direct work; appraise performance.
• Manage monthly reports on project engineering, warranty, materials and budgets.
• Coordinate site setup, manpower, machinery, and material availability.
• Provide technical training to stakeholders and troubleshoot vehicles after repairs.
